Thorsten Gahrmann, our Director of the Business Line IOT, is looking to strengthen the team with a talented Junior PKI Subject Matter Expert (full-time, m/f/d) to join our office in Berlin in a hybrid-remote set-up with 3 days in the office.   

This role is initially offered as a fixed-term position for 12–18 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

What we offer you 

As an entry-level PKI Subject Matter Expert, you will support the Nexus IoT Business Line portfolio and Sales operations. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining a demo environment for our IoT portfolio and supporting sales operations during Demo and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) phases. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop PKI expertise and work closely with Product Managers and Presales teams on technical questions and integrations. 

What you’ll do at Nexus 

• Demo Environment Management: Build and maintain an Azure-based cloud demonstration and proof-of-concept environment for Nexus IoT solutions. 

• Sales & Technical Support: Conduct standard demos and customer-specific PoCs, supporting the Sales and Presales teams with technical insights. 

• Automation & DevOps: Develop automated configuration pipelines in Azure DevOps for seamless PoC deployments. 

• Technical Integrations: Build and maintain integrations with third-party solutions like Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and ITSM tools. 

• PKI & IoT Expertise Development: Gain in-depth knowledge of PKI, IoT security technologies, and industry trends. 

• Customer Engagement: Support sales teams by consulting potential customers on technical discussions and contributing to technical proposals. 

• Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to Product Development and optimize sales material and technical descriptions.

• You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting sales efforts. 

• You are open-minded and solution-driven, always looking for ways to improve processes. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Experience or strong interest in Cybersecurity and PKI. 

• Knowledge of DevOps environments (preferably Azure); any corresponding tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus. 

• Basic coding skills (e.g., scripting, C++, Python, SQL) are a bonus. 

• Fluent English and a high-level of German.
