As Technical Account Manager (TAM) you play a key part in ensuring our customers get the best solutions possible to secure their businesses and our society. We are now looking to strengthen our Sales team with one more fantastic TAM!

Now our sales leader, Philippe Fonton, is looking to expand his team with one more TAM. Located in France, you will be close to our impressive mother company, but still be a part of Nexus and the principles we work by. In this role you will work flextime between our Paris office and your home office.
What will you be doing at Nexus
As a Technical Account Manager at Nexus, you work closely with all parts of the company - engineering, delivery and the sales team- in different countries. With your combined skill set of technical knowledge and people skills you will be a key resource in all our technical activities and for our full range of software.
In your day to day work you are responsible for technical presentations and supporting sales colleagues in customer meetings. You are the person who takes the technical aspects of our sales process very seriously and you really want to make sure we can deliver what we sell. Further on, you are the one to demo our products both to colleagues and potential customers.
You will be in charge of technical tasks like installing the software for Proof of concepts at customers and /or partners sites, drafting answers to technical bids, RFI/RFP’s, writing SoW (Statement of Work) for a full solution fitting the customers requirements. You are the one to make a judgment call if adaptions are necessary to get things right for our customers. From time to time you get to stand in the spotlight when you provide training for our partners, customer and your colleagues.
The role in bullets
- Technical Pre-Sales activities for all our software and solutions offering.
- Technical presentation and speech in support of the sales actions and customer’s or partners meetings.
- Install Proof Of Concept (PoC)
- Communicate with Products owners on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback.
- Answer to technical Bids, RFI’s, RPF's and defend the technical bids toward the customers.
Who are you
OK, so who are we looking for? First, since this is a techy role where we put our faith in you - you need to have a real technical knowledge and experience. With this we mean that you have worked with IT security before and have a good understanding of the technical demands our customers puts on us. We want you to have at least five years of relevant experience in a similar position and some educational background. If you also have experience in identity solutions like PKI, CMS or strong authentications, we promise you Philippe will give you a call asap!
Next, in this role you will need to take initiatives internally as well as externally, so this is a skill you have used many times before. You also enjoy and truly believe in cooperation and do not hesitate to collaborate to find your way. At Nexus, we move fast, and you are therefore also a flexible type of person. This does not mean that you need to throw your principles out the window - but you do need to know how to adapt to changes and you look for solutions to the challenges you face.
Last, but not least - Nexus is a global company and you will interact both with local partners and global colleagues, therefore it's important that you can speak both French and English. Your French needs to be fluent; your English is good enough as long as you understand and make yourself understood - we all speak a little bit of Nexus-English anyhow.
