What will you be doing at Nexus?

Nexus Smart ID Certificate Manager is a flexible and scalable Certificate Authority (CA) software portfolio that is fast growing in the domain of the Internet of Things (IoT).

To grow with the market, we have a do a lot of feature development and at the same time ensure our product is more easy to deploy, in the cloud, on-premises or deliver it as a service. The role is all about architecting the cloud transition and contribute towards interesting feature development activities. 

We try to work as agile  as possible, we have daily stand-ups (remote or onsite), do proper sprint planning and retros. You will be expected to have opinions and to drive the agenda. 

We work close with the customer, therefore, from time to time you will have
direct contact with internal and external customers of the product. This can be for new feature development, cloud strategy discussions, PoCs, or PKI ceremonies. We believe in the concept “you develop it, you run it”. 

Our technical environment in a nutshell:

Application: Java, Gradle, REST, Docker, Kubernetes 

Tools: GIT, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Azure Pipelines 

Concepts: PKI, aaS, IoT 

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in developing applications in Java and experience with cloud technologies and continuous delivery. You enjoy working in an open team and you firmly believe that cooperation and teamwork is the way to succeed. Continuous improvement, working closely together and discussion is the way to learn from each other. 

You are a passionate defender of the DevOps mindset and don’t have any issues
sharing your ideas and inspiring people around you. 

If you also have experience in security, that’s great, however we at least expect
a strong interest and willingness to learn! 

We take security very seriously and for this role a background check will be
mandatory.
