We are offering you a chance to be part of a product/service company, just when the tech is starting to take off. Even though PKI has been around for decades, during the recent times the market has really started to understand the need for it. Billions of IoT devices, Zero Trust and working from home put pressure on society to evolve the next generation of secure identities, and we are in the midst of it. And you can be in the middle of Nexus, furthering our core service portfolio.

About the team

In the team, we help each other a lot, both to enable learning, but also to spread knowledge about Nexus specific topics. We try to enable time to read and learn new things, so that we can have the ability to implement new solutions that support our platforms in the best way.
What would you be doing at Nexus
As Software engineer manager, you will manage a team of currently 8 people and will be the driver of workflow standardization for the SaaS services. You will provide key skills and know-how in the areas of automation and Cloud solutions.
This is a multi-function role; your prime objective will be to be a great leader for a great team. This includes day-to-day stuff like stand-ups, supporting the team in making sure they have the right foundation to deliver during the sprints and with other tasks. You will be a problem solver within and outside your team.
As a manager at Nexus, you will be fully responsible for all people management tasks, this includes continuous dialog with the team members in 1on1´s and performance reviews. You will also do recruitment, coaching and coordination for the team. You will always have support from the organization, of course!
We want all our leaders to take part in the hands-on work as well. This part depends on who you are. We are a company in transformation, and you will be able to contribute to many different areas. This could be as an Agile coach, Java developer, DevOps engineer driving the Azure DevOps journey, working with Change- and IT management. Your profile and passions will guide this part.
Who are you?
You can have acquired your greatness in many ways. The team you will be leading is using Java and for that reason we want you to have a background as a Java developer. We also think you have relevant manager experience and that you enjoy being a leader with full personnel responsibility.
As stated above, we also want you to work hands-on as well as being a leader. Therefore, we want you to be really good in an area other than Management. We also want you to have experience in cloud services and maybe even with the transformation from on-prem to cloud.
You must have experience in automation, Basic Docker / K8S experience understanding of development culture and methodologies. If you also happen to have BPMN design experience, it’s a big plus, but not a dealbreaker.
The most important thing is who you are. To enjoy your stay at Nexus, we think you should be passionate about development as a craft. This will give you the persistence and the drive to always work toward best practices, take pride in the solution you and your team provide for our amazing customers and it will keep you curious and open-minded to new ways of working.
Nexus Group’s main language is English and you will be able to do a great job with only fluency in English. But for your comfort, it will be good if you know some German or Swedish for the lunch-room.
