Joachim Kessel, Head of our Identity Manager Interfaces team and Torsten Meurer, Head of our Identity Manager Processes team in Ettlingen are looking for two QA Engineers to bring innovative ideas regarding automation and to support the teams to become more automated in the quest for flawless releases.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
The development teams in Ettlingen are working on the Smart ID Identity Manager, a key product to manage the lifecycle of identities for physical and digital access. As a QA Engineer, you will participate in the entire development process starting from technology choices to automated testing and deployment.
Additionally, you are a person who loves technology on the one hand and quality on the other. You love to find bugs and weaknesses within software and the processes around it. With your passion for quality and usability you love to inspire and influence others. You are used to communicate the results of your work transparently and continuously.
Our agile teams are setup as crossfunctional teams. The QA Engineers of the different teams work closely together to elaborate best practices and establish standard approaches for the whole organization.
Your contribution to the team
- Ensuring quality standards and principles are used throughout the development life cycle
- Define and write testcases for manual and automated execution
- Developing strategies for automated tests and higher automation test coverage
- Analysing complex system behaviors, performance and application issues
Our product is built out of the following technologies. It will be good if you master some of them.
Java, Spring, Activiti, Gradle, REST, Angular, Selenium, Testng, RestAssured, GIT, Jira, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservice, Azure Cloud & Azure DevOps are the buzzwords for this role.
Who are you?
We believe you are a skilled QA Engineer with several years of experience. You see automation is the future and you firmly believe that cooperation and teamwork is the way to success. Continuous improvement, working closely together and discussions are the way to learn from each other.
If you have experience in security and / or in cloud technologies, that is great, otherwise we at least expect a strong interest and willingness to learn!
