Johan Nylén, our Head of Pre-sales, is currently looking to grow his team in Germany with one more amazing colleague.
What will you be doing at Nexus
As a Pre-sales engineer at Nexus you lay the groundwork for a successful sales process, collaborating close with the sales team by providing the technical expertise for all the software and solutions of our Smart ID Workforce portfolio. Meaning that you are working with the only comprehensive corporate ID solution currently on the market, that covers all types of identities such as: common access cards, RFID cards, key fobs, smart cards, and virtual smart cards for smart phones, tablets and laptops.
In your day to day work you are manoeuvring large technically complex deals, handling technical pitches/presentations/trainings for customers and partners as well as building and conducting Proof of Concepts (PoC). You are also out and about - representing Nexus Group; meeting customers and partners at professional events.
Who are you
This is a highly techy role, and you have at least five years of relevant experience and knowledge from a similar position. You also have a degree in engineering, computer science or a similar field. If you previously worked within IT security and have experience with identity solutions like PKI, CMS, MFA/SSO, RFID and/or HSM, this is a great bonus!
You are a social and engaged person, who enjoys both the sales part as well as the technical demands that you might face in this type of role. Previous experience working in sales or pre-sales, will give you an edge from the start.
We move fast, and your flexibility is a great asset. This does not mean that you are throwing your own principles out the window - but we all know that technology evolves fast, and you are curious, adaptable and a constant learner, seeking new information both within the company and outside of it.
Last, but not least – you must be fluent in German for this role. Nexus is a global company and we like diversity, which also means that is important that you are unhindered in English, both in writing and speech.
