Pamela Kiewitt, head of our Support team, is looking for a service technician to join us in Düsseldorf.
What will you be doing at Nexus
You will perform hardware repairs and maintenance, on printers and other peripherals. You will also maintain the software and firmware of the products. Sometimes we need to adapt some pieces so soldering and cutting might be needed. You will perform such repairs not only at the office but on premises at the customer, representing Nexus.
The role in more detail
- Help the customer ascertain whether there is a hardware or software issue
- Talk to customers on a daily basis, keep track of support tickets and SLA compliance
- Collect sufficient data and create an estimate for repair or maintenance work
- On Site Service and Installation
- Repairing and maintaining card printers
- Installation of RFID encoders inside the printers
- Quality assurance and tests for card printers and RFID encoders

Who are you
We think you are technical, handy, and maybe a bit of a PC nerd. You know your way when doing basic driver installation and troubleshooting. It would be great if you have basic soldering and mechanic skills, and a love for electronics.
We think you are thorough, confident, and customer-oriented.
Nexus is a global company, therefore it is important that you can speak both German and English.
