Keesing Technologies · Amsterdam Flexible Remote
Nexus’ sister company Keesing Technologies is looking for their next star!
Nexus’ sister company Keesing Technologies is looking for their next star! Keesing offers cutting-edge identity verification that allows organisation’s and governments worldwide to establish an individual’s true identity from anywhere in the world and protect the society from fraud. The unique technologies build on our long-standing expertise, extensive ID knowledge and the world’s most comprehensive ID document database. In short, Keesing offers identity verification you can trust.
Nexus and Keesing are a part of IN Groupe and together we have embarked on the journey to secure identities in our society. As a part of this journey, we are laying the foundation for long term client relations by redefining how to run complex IT delivery projects. To support us in this ambitious target we need a talented Project Manager. In this role you will report to no less than the Managing Director of Keesing, but also work closely with our Director of Consulting at Nexus, Christian, and together you will ensure that we share and spread best practices between the two companies. We promise you a very broad role where you will play a major role in establishing professional projects and trusted relationships with our customers and partners. The Group is spread out all over the world, but Keesing is located in the Netherlands, Amsterdam. This role is flexible remote but with its main roots is in Amsterdam.
What will you be doing at Keesing?
You will join Keesing where you and 40 other engaged colleagues work every day to ensure a cutting-edge identity verification. As a Project Manager you guarantee that the delivery of the identity verification to Keesing’s customers and partners is handled in a professional, qualitative, and timely manner. Since you will notice pretty quickly, we can already tell you that the role of a Project Manager is new in Keesing’s organisation, so you will be the one showing the organisation how to run projects in the best possible way. But rest assured, you will not be alone in doing this! As a support you have experienced colleagues at Nexus and processes, policies and procedures from Nexus that you can “steal with pride” for Keesing.
Okay, so to become a bit more concrete on what we believe you actually will be doing it goes something like this: you will support partners and clients throughout the full implementation of a project. This starts by defining the scope and then plan, organise, and deliver according to that plan. You will ensure that we have the right resources available for the project and that we follow a set budget. As projects never are a one man show we expect you to continuously collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure constant improvement, lessons learned and to make sure Keesing and all relevant stakeholders are up to date with the progress and impression from the customer.
To summarize, your role really is a (hands-on) spider in the web which ensures that partners and customers get what they expect, and that the organization learns from each project.
Who are you?
As you understand from the description above you must be a person that knows how to collaborate well. This means that we expect you to have great communication skills, a cooperative mindset but also an ability to stand your ground. You do not shy away from conflicts (even though we of course try to manage without them) and you are not afraid of setting clear expectations from people in your surroundings. We also think that you have a business mindset and ability to seek constructive solutions. In the end, people tend to trust you and rely on your good judgement.
Other than great people skills you also are at least a little bit of a tech nerd. You have a relevant (technical) degree and more than five years previous experience of working as a project manager for external clients. (Let’s be honest, we will not reject you if you only have four years – what we are aiming for is that this is not your first rodeo!). We also think it is a great advantage if you have worked in a dynamic and agile tech- or security company before.
As the role will collaborate with people from different backgrounds and in different locations you should feel very comfortable with expressing yourself in English (spoken and written).
