Our IoT leader Thorsten is now looking to strengthen his team with another successful Account Manager in the Central and Eastern Europe region. With Thorsten you will have an engaged leader with a strong passion for IoT solutions and you will join a global team. This position is based either at our offices in Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Ettlingen) or at your home office.
What will you be doing at Nexus
This is an important sales role as we accelerate our growth in Central and Eastern Europe. You will be tasked with driving sales within your accounts and your sector. Your focus will be Industrial IoT and Consumer IoT.
In your day to day work you will be searching for new opportunities and segments where Nexus' IoT solutions can be relevant. You keep active and attend forums where our stakeholders are, and your job is to ensure Nexus' always has a place in their mind. In this role, we want you to find the new opportunities, close the deal, handover internally and then be on the hunt for the next opportunity. To be successful in this role you will also collaborate closely with your internal IoT team (sales colleagues, technical Specialists, Marketing, Product Team) or anyone else you need to have contact with to ensure you can close the deal successfully.
As Account Manager within Nexus, you also ensure to provide first-class sales by answering any questions the costumer might have about a product or a service. You act as a liaison between customers and Nexus and as an expert in selling solutions to organizations that meet their needs.

Who are you?
First of all; we think it is very important that you have the right mindset. As a woman or man of action we believe you really enjoy working in sales and within the tech industry. You take the initiative to find new opportunities, you take the lead in developing our market and you enjoy pushing the speed limits. We also believe you might have been called "energetic" at least one or two times in your life, since we think this is a very beneficial trait to have as an Account Manager. But even though you like the speed and strive for development you are always empathetic towards your colleagues and customers. You always have a strategy for how to spend your time. It is a big world to secure, but we need to keep focus on our predefined segments.
Further on, we think you have a relevant education and at least a few years of working experience as an Account Manager. Through your work experience you have developed some knowledge in account planning methodologies and sales strategy. You are not new in the IT Software and Services topics and if you have also worked with IT security, PKI, Identity & Access Management make sure you let us know since this is a big plus.
We also believe you might have other interesting experiences to tell us; maybe you have travelled the world, a degree in a completely different topic or find puzzles extremely interesting? We believe different backgrounds, experiences and interests is how we build a great team!
Since Nexus is a global company you are unhindered in English, and in this role, you will mainly work with German customer and therefore must be fluent in German. If you have additional language skills, that is a plus.
