Pamela Kiewitt, head of our Support team, is looking for a support engineer to join us in our Ettlingen location, but our customers are located all over the world, and you will be part of a global team.
What will you be doing at Nexus
You will be giving our customers and partners the best experience possible when helping them solve their issues. You will represent Nexus and its products, and will be a driving force to improve our products and processes.
You will help us gather our customers' needs, and help development/production understand our use cases.
Your main tasks will be:
•Take ownership of support tickets from customers/partners
•Give solutions to problems described in the tickets by analyzing logs and behavior
•Manage communication with other units (developers, Bas, sales, QA) when escalating internally
•Test and try to reproduce issues
•Continuously create articles for the Knowledge base
•Participate in internal and external meetings
•Help improve processes and ways of working
Example of things we use are PKI, Apache Tomcat, Windows AD, SAML, SQL,Docker, Linux, Networking.
Who are you
We think you are driven, proactive and like to take the initiative. You are a positive person, and very thorough.
You should have relevant studies or degree (Engineering or Computer Science) and experience in networking, linux, databases and PKI.
It is desirable if you have experience with containers.
Nexus is a global company, therefore you should speak and write English. Since the position is based in Germany, it is desirable you speak German as well.
