For our Central and Eastern Europe region we are now looking to strengthen the team with another successful Account Manager. You will join a global team, preferably based at one of our offices in Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Ettlingen/Karlsruhe) or at your home office.
What will you be doing at Nexus
This is a strategic sales role as we accelerate our growth in Central and Eastern Europe. You will be tasked with driving sales within your accounts and your sector.
In your day to day work you will be searching for new opportunities and segments where Nexus' solutions can be relevant. You also keep active and attend forums where our stake holders are to ensure Nexus' always has a place in their mind. In this role, we want you to find new opportunities, close deals, handover to the delivery team and then be on the hunt for the next opportunity. To be successful in this role you will also collaborate closely with internal teams such as your sales colleagues, technical specialists Marketing, Product Team, Finance, Legal, and anyone else you need to have contact with to ensure you can close the deal successfully.
The market for secure identities during times of digitalization and increasing Cybersecurity threats is huge, and we see ourselves well-positioned which is proven by our success within the following segments: Automotive, Utility & Energy, Finance, Manufacturing, Transportation and the Public Sector.
As Sales within Nexus you also ensure to provide first-class sales by answering any questions the costumer might have about a product. You act as a liaison between customer and Nexus and as an expert in selling solutions to organizations that meet their needs.
The role in bullets
- Drive business value by positioning and articulating Nexus’s value proposition to strategic customers and partners
- Negotiate and close strategic and complex enterprise contracts directly or with the support of global Partners
- Report on sales activity and forecasts to management
- Provide customer feedback to Marketing, Product, Delivery and the Customer Success team.
Who are you?
First of all; we think it is very important you have the right mindset. As a woman or man of action we believe you really enjoy working in sales and within the tech industry. You take the initiative to find new opportunities, you take the lead in developing our market and you enjoy pushing the speed limits. We also believe you might have been called "energetic" at least one or two times in your life, since we think this is a very beneficial trait to have as an Account Manager. But even though you like the speed and strive for development you are always empathetic towards your colleagues and customers, and you always have a strategy for how to spend your time. It is a big world to secure, but we need to keep a focus on our predefined segments.
Furthermore, we think you have a relevant education and at least a few years of working experience as an Account Manager. Through your work experience you have developed some knowledge in account planning methodologies and sales strategy. You are not new to IT Software and Services topics and if you have also worked with IT security, PKI, Identity & Access Management make sure you let us know since this is a big plus.
Since Nexus is a global company you are unhindered in English. In this role you will mainly work with German customer and therefore must be fluent in German. If you have additional language skills, that is a plus.
